First weekend...

So here it is Sunday...June 3rd. All of the 23 interns have arrived, as of around 11:30pm Saturday night. This weekend I've spent a lot of time with the interns, helping them find their way about the city, and just settling in at the house.

You'll be happy to know that my feet have adjusted well to the sudden constant walking! I even splurged and bought a new pair of flip flop/sandals. They weren't cheap- BUT are worth every cent I paid for them for sure! As for the restr of my body...well, it has had a hard time adjusting to the weather. One day it's 85 and humid, then next is overcast, cool and 65 degrees. If you look at the weather for the week it is the same pattern almost everyday: 63, 62, 78, 65, 72, 64, 76, 68, 72.....the forecast doesn't call for quite as drastic of changes, but it's still enough to mess with your body

Today is orientation for the students so I need to get planning for that before meeting up with some campus contacts this afternoon to discuss the orientation this evening.
