Just a little note here before I leave for the National Mall and all of the festivities today...it is not even 9am, it is 85 degree already and humid. They are calling for a good possibility of some very strong storms this afternoon, and worse of a chance this evening. We are also under a heat advisory for temps over 100-105 degrees today. For all of you back home at a lake, pool, or other means of cooling off- please think of me often. It is going to be a VERY VERY VERY hot day out there! But at the same time I think to myself- how can I NOT go? I only get this chance once.....
