Jenny and I just spent the afternoon at the National BBQ. It was pretty cool...it was $10 to get in, and then there were TONS of free food. Most of the food was from different companies and stores like Safeway Grocery Stores, Planters Peanuts, and various meat companies. It was well worth the $10 for the amount of food and gorging. This first picture is of the Safeway tent that had all the free samples in it. It was so big. We could hardly finish one thing before getting to the next table of food. We decided it couldn't be that healthy to encourage the thousands of people who went through there this weekend to eat that fast...
Next is a photo I took on our walk from Georgetown to Rosslyn, Virginia to get to the metro to go to the National BBQ. All I can say is somebody had ONE BIG PARTY!! haha..
